Welcome to La Castaniù Family, where the atmosphere is warm and family-like. Here, we celebrate the pleasure of good food and fine drinks, always going the extra mile to make it happen. At La Castaniù Family, you’ll find generous plates and perfectly poured drinks, all served by a team that’s dedicated to making your experience memorable. So, are you joining us?

La Castaniù Family was founded by Sylvain and Joseph, two childhood pals from Cantal, sons of farmers, who turned their love for food into a Parisian adventure. Their motto? Simplicity, sharing, and conviviality.


Sylvain and Joseph, after gaining experience together in the restaurant industry, one as a chef and the other as a waiter, opened their first restaurant in 2015 in the Pigalle district, near the Moulin Rouge. They followed with a second location in Batignolles in 2017, then Poni in 2019, and more recently Cavale in 2022, a spacious brasserie where generosity and conviviality come together.

In 2023, they launched JOSY, a laid-back pub where people gather to share cocktails and watch games.
And in 2025, it’s time for Fanfan, a fun, colorful, seventies-inspired restaurant offering a festive experience. Each establishment serves generous, accessible cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home, true to La Castaniù Family’s spirit of hospitality and enjoyment.

Everyone puts their heart into what they do, with one goal in mind: making sure you have an unforgettable time. No robotic service here—just warmth, authenticity, and that little signature touch that makes all the difference.

At La Castaniù Family, the vibe is like a house party… but better. Warm, laid-back, and welcoming, with none of the neighbors calling the cops at 10 PM or a pile of dirty dishes waiting for you the next day.
The moment you step through the door, it feels like arriving at a friend’s place. You’re instantly at ease, whether it’s thanks to Magalie’s cozy decor, the dim lighting that makes you look even better, or the music (chill or upbeat), depending on the mood of the night.
But the real game-changer is the people. Here, you’re never just another customer. You’re a guest, treated with the same care as a favorite cousin. The team is always there with a smile, ready to listen, offer recommendations, and make sure everything is just right.

We love to joke around with our guests, but we don’t mess around when it comes to the seasons. We respect them like we respect our grandma. Our chefs create four new menus every year, always in sync with what’s in season, because strawberries in winter? That just tastes like a greenhouse.
Our ingredients arrive fresh every day, bursting with flavor and sourced as locally as possible. No frozen stuff here, our guests are already cool enough!



When it comes to cheese and charcuterie, we know what we’re talking about. Ours come straight from producers who put their heart into their craft. Forgive us for choosing a good Cantal from Auvergne over a cheese that has traveled more than your passport.
Bottom line, we are committed to responsible, flavorful cooking that brings joy to everyone. Well, maybe not to those who eat strawberries in January… sorry about that.
You can enjoy your meal with peace of mind, we’ll take care of everything (and we’ll do it right, promise).
Customer Satisfaction

For us, it’s not just about putting plates on a table, it’s about creating memories.
The goal is to make every visit unforgettable, kind of like a tattoo… but without the pain. Every team member has a specific role, and spoiler alert: it’s not just carrying a tray.
Take our servers, for example. They’re not order-taking robots (otherwise, we’d call them Alexa). They’re experts in good vibes, friendly banter, and spot-on recommendations. They chat, they advise, and sometimes they even save an awkward first date with a well-timed joke. A thoughtful gesture, a genuine “How’s your day going?” or a knowing smile can turn a simple meal into a story you’ll tell the next day.
Basically, our team goes the extra mile (sometimes two, depending on the day) to make sure every guest leaves with a smile. This warm atmosphere and these little attentions are our secret recipe. Well, not so secret anymore… but you get the idea.
